The UN's Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals in The Hague has rejected an application for early release from prison from former Serbian Interior Ministry official Vlastimir Djordjevic, citing serious concerns about his level of rehabilitation.

President Aleksandar Vucic told a press conference on Wednesday that a total of 21 suspected mass grave locations have been examined so far in Serbia and that "we found the bodies of, it's assumed, killed Albanians at four of the 21 locations - we did not hide anything".

In their letter to Aleksandar Vucic on Monday, the family of the Albanian-American Bytyqi brothers said that they are confident that Vlastimir Djordjevic has vital information that can help locate mass graves and urged the Serbian president and government to press him to disclose the information.
