Tourism activity is expected to spike after Greece decided to exempt Turkish citizens from Schengen visa requirements for seven days to visit the eastern Aegean islands, representatives from the Turkish tourism industry have said.

“We want to maintain a good relationship with the United Kingdom”, the Prime Minister said

"Anne Keast-Butler has an impressive record at the heart of the UK's national security network, helping to counter the threats posed by terrorists, cybercriminals and malicious foreign powers," said British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, who appointed Butler, Reuters reported.

Athens has expressed its dismay following the mass shooting in the northern German city of Hamburg Thursday.

Greece expressed its condolences on Wednesday over the helicopter crash in a residential area near the capital of Kyiv that killed Ukraine's interior minister and about a dozen other people, including a child on the ground.

Turkey on March 18 extended condolences to Egypt, where train derailment left over at least 11 killed, injuring nearly a hundred others. 

"We have received the news with deep sorrow that at least 11 people lost their lives and many were injured in a train accident today (18 April) in Toukh city, Qalioubiya province of Egypt," said the Turkish Foreign Ministry in a written statement.

Seeking to regain momentum in his bid to become the next prime minister of Britain, Boris Johnson said on June 24 he was seriously prepared to take the country out of the European Union in October even if a deal with the bloc had not been reached.

Greece's foreign ministry expressed its condolences over the deadly bus crash in North Macedonia on Wednesday night that killed 14 people and injured dozens more.

"Deeply saddened by tragic road accident on the Skopje-Tetovo highway. Our thoughts go out to the victims' families and loved ones," the ministry said in a tweet.
