European Olympic Committees

Istanbul has been unanimously chosen as the host for the fourth European Games in 2027, the European Olympic Committees (EOC) said Wednesday.

The multi-sport event, first staged in 2015, was the fifth continental Games to be established after the Asian Games, Pan American Games, Pacific Games and African Games.

Panathinaikos football club will face either Gabala from Azerbaijan or Polish Jagiellonia Bialystok in the second qualifying round draw for the UEFA Europea League competition, while PAOK Thessaloniki will come up against Ukrainian side Olimpik Donetsk.

BAKU - President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OKS) Vlade Divac was re-elected on Sunday as member of the Executive Board of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), at the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in Baku.
