Microfinance Fund by HDB
Early next year, Hellenic Development Bank is expected to activate the Microfinance Fund, through which loans at a maximum level of 25,000 euros will be given to very small businesses, self-employed individuals, freelancers and startups to strengthen small entrepreneurship.

Hundreds of Syrian and Turkish women living in Turkey's southeast have launched their own businesses thanks to a microloans program run by the Turkish Foundation for Waste Reduction (TİSVA) and Care International.

Entrepreneur women supported with insurance
Turkish insurance company Güneş Sigorta has insured a total of 68,000 Turkish women working in the rural sector for the small amount of one Turkish Lira per month to support entrepreneurial women who have established their own businesses using microcredits, the head of the company says.
