Turkish writer Serbes sentenced to 13 years in prison in car accident case
A court in the Aegean province of İzmir on July 12 sentenced writer Emrah Serbes to 13 years and four months in jail for killing three people from the same family in a car accident in September 2017.

Captain named among dead seamen in Turkish ship crash off Italy
Turkey's Milano Consulate has revealed the names of two victims of a Turkish cargo vessel that sank off the Italian coast after colliding with another ship in rough waters, as rescue operations for four missing seamen were still ongoing as of Dec. 30.
