Leaders of the coup in Gabon on Wednesday named a general transitional president after seizing power following disputed elections in which President Ali Bongo Ondimba, whose family has ruled for 55 years, was declared the winner.

The Boston Turkish Film Festival kicked off Nov. 22 after a nine-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2019 film, shot in collaboration with TRT with the support of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, won three big awards at the 10th South European Film Festival (SEE) organized in France.

Turkey's International Migration Film Festival on June 8 announced the entries that will compete in the feature films category. 

In a statement, the organizers said eight films will be vying in the category during the festival, which will be held online from June 14-21.
