Serbian pop singer Vlado Georgiev will consult his lawyers about suing pro-government station TV Pink for spreading false information about his concert cancellation during an interview it broadcast with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Danas newspaper reported on Wednesday.

7-February-2017 15:01 BELGRADE - Serbian Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic, who has earlier announced he would run in the upcoming presidential elections, on Tuesday tendered his resignation to the Serbian parliament.

Citizens' Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic will resign on Tuesday, and start official preparations for his presidential campaign.

Belgrade-based daily Danas is reporting this on Sunday.

In an interview with Serbian tabloid Kurir on Tuesday, President Tomislav Nikolic said there is no reason for the ruling Progressives not to support him as their candidate in the upcoming presidential election, which is expected to be held no later than April this year.
