Sofia's public transport system faces significant changes as a commission voted to close certain night bus routes. The decision will see night lines H3 and H4 being completely discontinued, while H1 and H2 will only operate on Fridays and Saturdays.

Today's air quality remains alarmingly hazardous across several cities, with fine dust particles soaring well above acceptable levels. The anticipated wind movement offers a glimmer of hope in dispersing the pollution that has gripped numerous urban areas.

For the next morning, the pollution levels in many parts of the country are well above the permissible levels. 12 of the stations of the Executive Environmental Agency report values above the concentration limits.

The air is dirtiest in Sofia Field, where in Mladost, Pavlovo, Hipodruma and Nadezhda the fine dust particles are 3-4 times above the norm.
