No meeting with HDP deputy on Öcalan, says Erdo?an

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an said on Jan. 29 that he would not meet with Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) lawmaker Leyla Zana unless she takes her oath in parliament, saying that such a meeting would not be held over the living conditions of the jailed leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). 

Gov't-HDP talks intensify on eve of possible start of Kurdish negotiations

With the traffic in Ankara getting busier on the eve of an expected declaration that the talks between the government and the Kurdistan Workers? Party (PKK) have shifted into formal negotiations, Deputy Prime Minister Yalç?n Akdo?an, a key name in the talks, met on Feb. 12 with a member of the team visiting the jailed leader of the outlawed organization.
