The Petit Plan: Europa Short Film Festival (petitplan.org) returns December 10-13, celebrating its fifth year with 33 European short films screened for free at the Goethe Institute (14-16 Omirou) and the Hellenic American Union (22 Massalias).

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Greece from Tuesday to Thursday at the invitation of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

The visit will focus on German-Greek relations, addressing historical memory, migration, sustainability and collaboration in business, science and culture.

Marking 10 years of the Hellenic-German Future Fund, the German Embassy in Athens and the Goethe Institute (14-16 Omirou) will host a three-day documentary screening from October 11 to 13. The five films explore Greek-German relations, addressing themes like intergenerational trauma, the Holocaust and national identity.
