Magnitude 4 Quake Rocks Turkey’s Pamukkale
An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was registered in the Pamukkale region of Turkey's Denizli (western Turkey) district, Turkish NTV reported.
There are no reports of people injured or material damage.
The quake occurred at 9:30 a.m. local time (8:30 a.m. Bulgarian time) at a depth of 7.24 kilometers, the Directorate for Disaster management and emergencies said.

Two earthquakes strike western, central Turkey
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey's western Manisa province on Jan. 22, according to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
Ahmet Deniz, the governor of the province, said there are reports that some buildings were damaged but no casualties have been reported so far.
Only four people were reportedly injured.

Driver, owner of vehicle that killed chief public prosecutor arrested in Turkey's west
The driver and the owner of a truck that crashed into a car carrying a chief public prosecutor and his personal driver, who were both killed, in the western province of Denizli were arrested on May 14, Doğan News Agency has reported.
Car accident kills chief public prosecutor in Turkey's west
A chief public prosecutor and his driver were killed in a car accident in the Merkezefendi district of the western province of Denizli on May 10.
Denizli Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Alper, 48, and his driver Muzaffer Akşehirli were killed when a truck laden with excavations crashed into their car on a highway.
Sarcophagus found in sand pit
Two skeletons have been discovered in a sarcophagus found in a sand pit near the ancient city of Tripolis in the western province of Denizli's Buldan district. The skeletons were estimated to belong to a couple who lived 18 centuries ago.

ISIL militant treated in Turkey, governor confirms
