After a sold-out show at the Tate Modern, London-based Greek composer, pianist, songwriter, producer, DJ and club promoter Othon comes to Athens' Michael Cacoyannis Foundation with his latest album "The God Within." By means of piano, electronic manipulation and sound design, Othon and artistic partner Owen Pratt express the inner journey of meditation via his signature electronic minimalism.

In the show, they present rays of light, or hope, in otherwise melancholy works. The inauguration takes place on Tuesday, November 28, at 7 p.m.

The 3rd Athens International Poetry Festival will kick off next Monday, September 18 at the Athens Music Concert Gardens. 70 poets from 16 countries will participate in the event, which is scheduled to start at 8pm and the entrance is free for the public.

The LifeArt Global Media Festival 2017 is an initiative inspired by the vision of the late filmmaker Michael Cacoyannis, and starts on Monday, July 10, with the screening of a spectacular National Geographic documentary on climate change. "Before the Flood" is directed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Fisher Stevens and produced by Martin Scorsese.

The Japanese Embassy in Athens and the Japan Foundation present a mini-festival of films dedicated to the art of food, titled "Eating - Loving - Living," at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. The event comprises critically acclaimed films from Japan, with both English and Greek subtitles.
