Fifty homesteads cut off from rest of world
PRIJEPOLJE - Fifty homesteads in the villages around Prijepolje, southwestern Serbia, are cut off from the rest of the world because of heavy snowfall, but the authorities are working to clear local roads.
The thickness of the snow cover reaches 1 m in some locations and the villages have been without power for several days, local official Goran Vujasevic told Tanjug on Tuesday.
