Europe Set for Football Fever: Euro 2024 Begins with High Expectations
Euro 2024 kicks off tonight at 22:00 Bulgarian time, starting with the opening match between Scotland and host nation Germany at Munich's Allianz Arena.
The tournament will span 10 stadiums across Europe, hosting 24 teams vying for the championship. These teams are divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each.
Suitors that vied for Archaeological Museum presented
The first taste of the proposals of the nine partnerships of international and Greek architectural firms that participated in the competition for the expansion and upgrading of the National Archaeological Museum and competed with that of David Chipperfield Architects and Tombazis and Associates Architects that was ultimately chosen was released on Monday by the Culture Ministry.
A final work by Zaha Hadid opens in Italy
One of the final works of Zaha Hadid, the acclaimed Iraqi-British architect who died suddenly last month, was posthumously inaugurated in Italy on April 25.
Inspired by an oyster, the new maritime terminal at the southern port of Salerno features a hard shell above a soft, fluid interior and the wavy lines that were Hadid's signature.

Zaha Hadid, the world's most famous female architect who attracted plaudits for works of sweeping curves and controversy for huge cost overruns, died on March 31 at the age of 65.
