Turkish American activist's family seeks US probe after West Bank killing

The family of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, a Turkish American activist killed by Israeli forces during a protest in the occupied West Bank, is urging the Biden administration to conduct an independent investigation into her death.

Eygi, 26, was shot during a demonstration against illegal Israeli settlements in Beita, part of the Nablus district.

Hamas slams Israeli 'refusal' of Gaza deal over border troops

Blinken Communicates with Fidan About Gaza Ceasefire

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with his American counterpart, Antony Blinken.

As announced by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Oncu Keçeli, the two ministers discussed the ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.

According to the Turkish representative, the call was made at the request of the American side.

Hezbollah Fires 50 Rockets on Israel After Deadly Strike in Lebanon

The Lebanese group Hezbollah launched over 50 rockets targeting homes in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights, according to the Associated Press.
