New car sales up nearly 14%

New car sales in July rose 13.9% compared to July 2022. Since the start of the year, they have risen 26% compared to January-July 2022.

Electric and hybrid cars are catching on, with rechargeable models making up 10.1% of July sales, from 5.4% in July 2022.
