Ayvalık Music Festival to welcome audiences
Organized by the Ayvalık International Music Academy (AIMA), founded 23 years ago under the leadership of Professor Filiz Ali, the seventh Ayvalık Music Festival will be held in the western town of Ayvalık between Aug. 10 and 19.

Sakıp Sabancı Mardin City Museum presents Russian avant-garde
The Sakıp Sabancı Mardin City Museum - Dilek Sabancı Gallery in the southeastern province of Mardin, restored by the Sabancı Foundation upon the late businessman Sakıp Sabancı's will and transformed into a museum and art gallery, is hosting the exhibition "The Russian Avant-garde. Dreaming the Future Through Art and Design."
Int’l Adana Theater Festival kicks off
The 22nd Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival, organized in collaboration with the State Theaters (DT) and the Sabancı Foundation, kicked off on May 24.
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the festival's opening held at the Central Park Amphitheater, with a previously recorded video message, thanking everyone who contributed to the festival organization.

Sabancı Int’l Adana Theater Festival to open curtains
The State Theaters-Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival, organized in collaboration with the State Theaters (DT) and the Sabancı Foundation, will meet the audience in its 22nd year.
Turkey's longest-running theater festival will start on May 24 and end on June 21.
Smartphone campaign launched for domestic violence victims
A new social solidarity movement has been launched for women who are subjected to domestic violence and have limited access to technological devices.
The motto of the campaign, initiated by Teknosa, the Sabancı Foundation and the Federation of Women's Associations (TKDF), is "technology for women, solidarity for all."
Istanbul Jazz Festival to finish with migrant concert
The 24th Istanbul Jazz Festival will finish with a concert on July 21, featuring the Syrian Women's Chorus, composed of Syrian women who migrated to Istanbul.
In the concert, the chorus will accompany the Syrian saxophone player Basel Rajoub's band "Sorina" and Sirojiddin Juraev, a master performer of long-necked lutes from Central Asia.
Theater festival in Adana to kick off season
Organized with the cooperation of the Sabancı Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and State Theaters, the 19th State Theaters Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival will kick off in the southern Turkish province of Adana on March 27, World Theater Day. The event will feature national and international theater shows through April 30.

Glass furnace unearthed in Metropolis
An ancient glass furnace has been unearthed during excavations in the ancient city of Metropolis in the Aegean province of İzmir's Torbalı district. The finds in the furnace show that its ceramics were imported from Athens to the region.

Turkey's Changemakers: KAÇUV 'Family Home'
The Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV) has been named the 12th Changemaker of the 7th season of the Sabanci Foundation's Turkey's Changemakers Program.
According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, every year 200,000 children are diagnosed with cancer.
