Olympiakos stretched its lead at the top of the Super League table to 14 points on Sunday after its road win over Apollon and Aris' reverse at Asteras Tripolis. AEK has climbed back up to second.

The Reds defeated Apollon Smyrnis 3-1 through an Ahmed Hassan brace and a Yann M'Vila goal. Apollon had pulled one back via Abiola Dauda.

Olympiakos scraped past a rigid PAS Giannina defense with a late winner on Sunday, but the weekend's triumph belonged to Panathinaikos that beat Aris away and is back in the mix for a European spot.

Olympiakos and PAOK will fight it out next weekend for the top spot of the regular season in the Super League when they meet in Thessaloniki, with the Reds holding on to their two-point lead on Saturday.
