Parliament elects new Serbian government

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament elected on Thursday evening the new Government of Serbia, headed by PM Milos Vucevic.

One hundred and fifty-two of 213 MPs in attendance voted in favour while 61 voted against and there were no abstentions.

The new government will have 31 members, including five ministers without portfolio.

Compared to the previous government, led by former PM Ana Brnabic, one third of the new cabinet are new ministers.
