EBRD approves 25 mln euro loan to Srbija Voz for railway depots

BELGRADE - Serbia will further upgrade its railway infrastructure thanks to a 25 mln euro loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

"Srbija Voz, Serbia's national rail passenger operator, will use the loan to build a new regional depot in Nis and rehabilitate two existing ones in Zemun and Sombor," the EBRD said in a statement.

Belgrade Mayor Sapic resigns ahead of early elections

So-called Kosovo Police raid north Mitrovica hospital, seize camera footage

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Special units of the so-called Kosovo Police raided the Clinical Hospital Centre in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday morning, the institution's director Zlatan Elek told Tanjug.

He said Pristina's police had searched the laundry room and some offices without the knowledge of the hospital management and also seized footage from security cameras.

Dinar-to-euro exchange rate at RSD 117.1996

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar's official median exchange rate against the euro is 117.1996 dinars for one euro on Friday, which is a slight change from Thursday, the National Bank of Serbia said.

The dinar is steady against the euro m-o-m and up by 0.1 pct y-o-y and relative to the beginning of the year.
