Five Serbs placed in custody
STRPCE - Ivan Redzic, official of the municipality of Strpce, has said that five Serbs from this town, who were arrested in Tuesday's action by the Kosovo police, have been placed in custody.
Redzic told Tanjug that members of the Kosovo police from Strpce Dejan Stevanovic, Radisa Jovanovic, Dragan Markovic, Dejan Jorgovic and forest farmer Dragutin Ivanovic will be kept in a 48-hour detention.
He said that all five incarcerated Serbs have been provided with public defenders with the help of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija, adding that Tuesday's action by the Kosovo police caused unrest among local Serbs.
