EU commissioner meets with mayors from north

PRIŠTINA -- EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule will on Tuesday in Kosovska Mitrovica hold a meeting with mayors of Serb majority municipalities in northern Kosovo.

According to announcements, they will discuss the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština and as efficient as possible use of EU funds for economic and social development of northern Kosovo.

The EU office in Kosovo said in a statement that the meeting between Fule and mayors of Northern Mitrovica, Leposavić, Zubin Potok and Zvečan would also be attended by EU special representative in Kosovo Samuel Zbogar.

The meeting will be held at the EU House in Kosovska Mitrovica.

Fule was in Belgrade on Monday when it was reported he would also travel to Priština.
