Nikolic to meet Hollande

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will talk on Thursday with his French counterpart Francois Hollande in Paris about the difficult situation that his country has found itself in due to catastrophic floods and France's assistance to the flood-hit citizens.

President Nikolic will make a similar appeal to the French public through public media, the president's press service has released.

Although before the tragedy that hit Serbia and the entire region this was due to be a two-day visit, President Nikolic decided to cut his trip to France short to just five hours because of the changed circumstances, the release notes.
