Austria to help Serbia and Bosnia with EUR 1mn

VIENNA -- Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz has announced that the Austrian government has decided to give Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina EUR 500,000 each.

The money will be used to repair the damage caused by the recent severe floods.

Kurz made the announcement at a meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić and Bosnian Foreign Minister Zlatko Lagumdžija, held in Vienna on Monday as part of the conference of the Central European Initiative (CEI).

On behalf of the government and citizens of Serbia, Dačić thanked for the aid that Austria had so far sent to Serbia after the catastrophic floods, said the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
