Govt adopts Strategy for agriculture, rural development

BELGRADE - The Serbian Government adopted on Thursday the Strategy for agriculture and rural development of Serbia for the period of the next ten years.

The main goals defined in the document comprise improvement and modernisation of agricultural production, improvement of the living conditions in rural areas, sustainable resource management and environmental protection, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

The government also adopted the bill of amendments to the Law on Higher Education which defines the procedures in procurement of work permits and accreditation of faculty education, hiring teachers and associates and recognition of degrees issued by foreign faculties.

The government also adopted the draft law on signature, manuscript and correspondence verification and the bill of amendments to the Customs Law, the release states.
