Vucic, Lagumdzija: Joint projects at Berlin meeting

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conferred with Deputy Chair of the Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdzija on Wednesday concerning the two countries' cooperation and the conference on the Western Balkans due to take place in Berlin on August 28.

During the meeting, Vucic and Lagumdzija focused most on the joint infrastructural projects which will be presented in Berlin and the possibilities for their funding and realisation from EU funds.

Vucic underscored that the project realisation would contribute to strengthening of the stability and improvement of connections between people in the region, the Serbian government Office for Cooperation with the Media released.

The two high officials also discussed the perspectives for improvement of bilateral cooperation and joint presentation on third markets.

They agreed that the development of economic cooperation is a guarantee of the stability in the region, which is why development of economic relations needs to go on, especially with regard to the simplification of border and customs procedures.

Vucic and Lagumdzija concluded that it is exceptionally important for the two countries to continue developing their cooperation in the energy sector, the release states.
