Vucic receives outgoing French ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received on Thursday French Ambassador Francois-Xavier Deniau whose term of office in Serbia is coming to an end, the government's press office stated in a release.

Prime Minister Vucic thanked Ambassador Deniau on his tremendous contribution to improving relations between the two countries and the support he has offered to Serbia along the path toward EU membership.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the forthcoming visit by French Prime Minister Manual Valls, economic developments and opportunities for French companies in Serbia, the release notes.

Ambassador Deniau noted that French businessmen are interested in engaging in the privatization processes and numerous infrastructure projects.
