Belgrade Gastro Fest to be held on October 16-19

BELGRADE - In collaboration with the Diplomatic Association of Serbia, the Culinary Federation of Serbia will organise the first Belgrade Gastro Fest on October 16-19 at the Belgrade Fair, the organisers announced on Thursday.

"The Balkan gastronomic spectacle" will feature 500 Serbian and international professionals in the field, they said in a statement.

The event will also include panel discussions on gastronomy, promotions of expert literature and entertaining cooking workshops, the first regional championship of professional chefs and pastry chefs, as well as a food show featuring spicy dishes.

The festival will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Belgrade City Assembly and the tourism organisations of Serbia and Belgrade.
