Ivanovic outlasts Bouchard, back into mix for semi-finals

SINGAPORE - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic outplayed Canada's Eugenie Bouchard 6-1, 6-3 in Singapore on Wednesday.

Following a defeat by Serena Williams in the Red Group first round, Ivanovic is now back into the mix for the semi-finals of the WTA Finals in Singapore.

The Serbian player now needs a victory against Romanian Simona Halep, who crushed U.S. Serena Williams 6-0, 6-2 earlier on Wednesday.

The prize money of the Singapore tournament stands at USD 6.5 million.
