Verbic: Volunteering - faster way to job

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Education Srdjan Verbic told participants of the Danube Business Forum in Belgrade on Monday that Serbian students could volunteer in the projects that are to be realized as part of the Danube Strategy.

Verbic called on businessmen, who will partake in these projects, to give a chance to students so that they could gain experience and be able to get a job more easily later.

"There are thousands of students who would like to take part in these projects for free and show their competencies, it is up to you and me to make it possible for them," Verbic said.

The three-day Danube Business Forum was opened in Belgrade on Monday bringing together around 800 participants, leaders in the areas of energy, water, agribusiness, transportation, ITC, entrepreneurship and creative industry of the Danube region, which comprises 14 countries.
