Tennis: Tecau and Rojer qualify to semifinals of Paris-Bercy Masters tour
The pair formed by Romanian tennis player Horia Tecau and Dutch player Jean-Julien Rojer has qualified, on Thursday, for the semifinals of the doubles' event of the 2,884,675-dollar Paris-Bercy tournament (ATP World Tour Masters 1000), thanks to the victory by 5-7, 6-1, 10-6 against pair formed by Eric Butorac (USA)/Raven Klaasen (South Africa).
Tecau and Rojer, seeded eighth, who have already ensured their presence in the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London, England, have managed to impose themselves in one hour and 20 minutes and have ensured for themselves a cheque worth 41,750 euro and 360 ATP points.
The Romania-Dutch pair, now at their sixth consecutive win, will play in the next to last act of the tournament with the winners of the match between team made up of Bob and Mike Bryan, main favorites, and Leander Paes (India)/Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland). AGERPRES
