BITEF nominated for region's Festival of the Year

BELGRADE - The Belgrade International Theatre Festival (BITEF) has been nominated for the 2013-2014 audience award granted by the web portal Teatar. hr, in the Festival of the Year category, which has been this year expanded to the entire region.

This year, in the first round, Teatar.hr received a total of 34.227 votes for the regional award that is entirely decided by the audience. Five nominees have been shortlisted in each of 10 categories, BITEF stated in a release.

The audience will also decide on the winners in another round of voting, and the awards ceremony will be held at Zagreb's Culture Factory on November 21.
