Djuric:Setting up community of Serb municipalities –priority
BELGRADE - Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said on Thursday that the establishment of a community of Serb municipalities is a priority, and that he expects the formation of a provincial government so that Belgrade would get a credible and constructive partner for further dialogue.
During today's meeting with Austrian Ambassador to Serbia Johannes Eigner and his deputy Wolfgang Wagner in Belgrade, Djuric said that it is in Serbia's interest to have stability in Kosovo-Metohija.
As noted in a release, Djuric voiced the hope that after the provincial government is formed, conditions will be created for a safe environment, sustainable development and better quality of life, not only for Serbs, but also for all other citizens in the province.
Djuric and Eigner discussed the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, EU integration process, and stressed how important it is to implement the Brussels accord in full.
They agreed that it is very important to continue putting in place the agreements reached within the Brussels accord, and they also addressed open issues such as the energy sector and telecommunications in Kosovo-Metohija.
