Herbie Hancock to gig in Belgrade on Thursday
BELGRADE - The famous jazz pianist and multi-genre composer, Herbie Hancock, will gig at Centre Sava on Thursday, November 27.
Hancock will perform a number of songs from his rich career, accompanied by an all-star-band, organizers have announced.
During a two-hour journey through Hancock's half-century career, Vinnie Colaiuta, one of the greatest drummers of all time, will also perform before Belgrade's audience. His partner in the rhythm section is furious James Genus, and all guitar lovers will be thrilled by virtuoso Lionel Loueke who is leading, as an independent artist, a new generation of stars of the prestigious jazz label Blue Note Records.
The ongoing tour is specific in that sense that, after a long time, the set list contains Hancock's best songs such as Actual Proof, Rockit, Chameleon, Speak Like a Child, and absolute jazz classics Watermelon Man and Cantaloupe Island.
The tickets can be purchased at the Sava Centre box office and Eventim ticket offices. The price of tickets ranges from RSD 2,590 to RSD 6,590.
