Each year on April 30, the world celebrates Jazz Day in order to spread awareness for intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding. It is celebrated across countries to bring together communities, artists and jazz enthusiasts and to learn more about jazz, its roots, future and impact.

Ankara Jazz Festival to be held online on 24th year

On its 24th year, the International Ankara Jazz Festival will take place as an online festival due to the global coronavirus pandemic. Works are almost completed for the festival to take place between April 30 and May 10.

BELGRADE - The International Jazz Day will be marked Wednesday with a concert on Belgrade's central square, the organisers have announced.

The International Jazz Day, April 30, was officially recognised by UNESCO on April 12, 2012 at the initiative of legendary jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century.
