Djokovic through to Doha ATP quarterfinal with ease

DOHA - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the Doha ATP quarterfinal as he defeated Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine in the second round match on Wednesday, 6-2, 6-1.

In the next round, Djokovic will cross rackets with Croatia's Ivo Karlovic who beat Georgia's Nikoloz Basilashvili, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.

During the tournament in Doha, Djokovic will also compete in the men's doubles category with another Serbian player, Filip Krajinovic. The two players will cross rackets with Columbia's Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah Maksoud.

The prize fund of the Doha ATP totals USD 1.22 million.
