DOHA - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic did not manage to qualify for the Doha ATP semifinal as he lost the quarterfinal match on Thursday to Croatia's Ivo Karlovic, 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (8-6), 6-4.

In the match against the world's 57th tennis player, Djokovic was beaten two hours and 15 minutes into the game.
The Serbian player did not play too badly compared to the excellent game shown by Karlovic who scored a well-deserved
triumph mostly thanks to his expert serves.

In the match for the final, Karlovic will cross rackets with David Ferrer of Spain who currently holds the 10th place on the
ATP list. Earlier on Thursday, Ferrer defeated Germany's Dustin Brown, 6-2, 6-2.
