Vucic meets with Li Keqiang ahead of Davos forum

BELGRADE- Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conferred with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang in Davos on Wednesday ahead of the World Economic Forum.

Vucic said that the Forum is attended by all who have a decisive impact in the world, adding that this is a good opportunity for the Serbian government to present the courageous economic reforms it is implementing, which have met with worldwide approval.

"This is a good opportunity for Serbia's promotion," Vucic told reporters.

During his two-day participation in the Davos forum, convened under the theme "The New Global Context", Vucic will meet with several world leaders and representatives of major world companies.

The Serbian prime minister is due to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans and Switzerland's Deputy Prime Minister Didier Burkhalter.

On Thursday, Vucic will meet with managers of Google and other world's biggest corporations, in an effort to present Serbia as a good investment destination.
