Dacic to attend debate in US on Serbia's OSCE chairmanship
WASHINGTON - The Chairperson-in-Office of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, will on Wednesday continue his visit to Washington, where he will take part in a debate on Serbia's OSCE chairmanship before the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe.
With members of the Helsinki Commission, Dacic will discuss the priorities of Serbia's OSCE chairmanship, resolution of the conflict in Ukraine and around it, as well as reconciliation and cooperation in the Western Balkans.
The topics of the meeting will also include reforming management in the security sector, fighting trans-national threats, including the issues of foreign terrorist fighters, terrorism and cyber security, as well as other current topics, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Dacic will provide insight into current OSCE activities for 2015, the statement said.
At the end of the visit to the US, in his capacity as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Dacic will meet with US Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday.
