Bill Murray and George Clooney dine at hip, inexpensive Greek eatery

Taverna Kyclades in Astoria Queens, one of the top Greek restaurants in New York City, has been getting a lot of attention from international media lately, as it has become one of the hippest restaurants in Big Apple, drawing numerous Hollywood stars.

Bill Murray apparently adores traditional Greek cuisine as he has visited the Taverna Kyclades several times, bringing with him some of his most famous friends, like Hollywood star George Clooney and talented director Sophia Coppola.

53-year-old Clooney and 64-year-old Murray visited the inexpensive taverna last Tuesday and the owners shared photo proof on their Facebook page writing: 'Bill Murray loved us so much he brought a friend.'

Jodie Foster is also a fan of the Greek family eatery where appetizers start at just $5. She visited the restaurant on February 6 to taste the delicious dishes offered there, including the grilled octopus which Eater New York recently included in its "24 Iconic New York City Dishes" list.
