Political backround of Djindjic's death should be revealed

BELGRADE - President of the Sociald Democratic Party of Serbia Boris Tadic has said in comment to the 12th anniversary of the assasination of former prime minister Zoran Djindjic that he would like to see the political background of the assassination revealed and all dilemmas surrounding it resolved, but that such a thing will become increasingly difficult to do as years go by.

Immediately after Djindjic's assassination on March 12, 2003, the national government should have investigated all the parties that were publicly brought in connection with with that, he told TV B92 on Thursday.

There was more likelyhood back then of revealing evidence and political connectins, while later that was much more difficult, said Tadic, who is a former president of Serbia.

It is going to be more and more difficult as years go by, he noted, adding that he would like to see that political background uncovered and all dilemmas resolved.
