So-called Kosovo Police close K Mitrovica offices of Serbian insurance firm
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The so-called Kosovo Police and representatives of Pristina's so-called central bank raided and closed the offices of the Serbian insurance firm Dunav osiguranje in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday.
A regional deputy police chief said that, in consultations with a prosecutor, a case of alleged abuse of economic activity was in the process of being opened and that the offices would remain closed until further notice.
Earlier in the day, Pristina's police also closed the Kosovska Mitrovica office of the Serbian Tax Administration.
In a reaction, the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said the illegal move was a clear indicator that Pristina's PM Albin Kurti wanted no normalisation of relations or peaceful coexistence in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija, but a forcible change of its ethnic composition, especially...
