Seven Serbs work in ISIS controlled hospital in Libya

Seven health workers from Serbia work in Libyan city Sirt, in a hospital controlled by Islamic state.

No one of them was kidnapped, altough CNN claimed yesterday that 20 people was obducted from that hospital, including Serbian citizens.

However, two Serbian women escaped to Tripoli, and they are in a hotel in that city.

According to information "Blic" has, one of them is Gordana Curcic (59), midwife from Belgrade, who is trying to come back to Serbia.

- I hear with Gordana every day. She says she is safe and that soldiers of ISIS didn't hurt her. They don't want to hurt Serbian doctors, because they are the best ones Libya has over there. There are plenty of wounded people, and hospital has a lot of work - says Zlatko Curcic, Gordana's husband.

However, he suspects there are some complications with Gordana's return to Serbia, and fears that his wife will be returned to Sirt.

- She ran away from the hospital 15 days ago, but ISIS returned her to work because they needed her to help them. No one harrassed her. They didn't take her passport or phone, all they wanted is that she works for them - says ?ur?i?.

In "Ibn Sina" hospital there are 7 Serbs. One of them, a woman, is considering to go away to Tripoli.

The other six workers have no intention to leave Sirt.

- Everything is okay here. Yeterday ISIS soldiers came, but they didn't harm anyone. People could leave if they want.  ISIS even offered help to those who wanted to leave - says Marko Stojanovic, one of the Serbian employees in Sirt.
