Turkish Art Week opens at London’s famous gallery
More than 100 works by Turkish artists delighted culture lovers at London's famed Saatchi Gallery on Oct. 26.
As many as a thousand guests were welcomed by organizers to the inaugural Turkish Art Week, featuring works by prominent artists from Turkey, Azerbaijan and North Cyprus.

"Inside Montessori," Jan Selby and Vina Kay's 2018 documentary that sheds light on the Montessori method of education by observing the youngsters and their teachers at five Montessori schools in the United States, will be screened at various locations in Athens and one in Thessaloniki between February 19 and March 3.
L’Enfant Sauvage | Athens | December 17
The French Institute of Athens is organizing a screening of Francois Truffaut's "L'Enfant Sauvage" (1970). The French film, inspired by real events, tell the story of Victor, a child raised by wolves who is found and introduced to human civilization for the first time at the age of 10. A moving story about society values and the personal relationship between a "wild child" and an adult.

French-Greek Chamber to host tax event
The French-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding an event on Thursday at the French Institute of Greece (31 Sina, Athens) titled "Proposals for a Fair and Effective Tax Policy for Enterprises."
The keynote speaker will be the new head of Grant Thornton in Greece, Nikos Karamouzis, while corporate tax experts will offer their insight.

Clarinet & Piano | Athens | June 10
The French Institute has invited Renaud Guy-Rousseau and Markos Kotsias for a clarinet and piano recital of modern French and Greek music, including works by Charles Camilleri, Maurice Ravel and Francis Poulenc, as well as Manos Hadjidakis and Manolis Kalomiris.
