Kepel is a French political scientist and professor at Sciences Po in Paris. The event is organized by the Modern Greek Culture and General Education Studies Society founded by the Moraitis School in Athens. It starts at 6.30 p.m.

The French Institute in Athens is hosting French philosopher Alain Badiou on Thursday, May 5, in a lecture titled "What Is Politics Today?" Badiou, formerly chair of Philosophy at the Ecole Normale Superieure, was also a founding member of the faculty of Philosophy at the University of Paris VIII. The event starts at 7 p.m.

11th annual Comicdom Con exhibition
The 11th Comicdom Con exhibition, organized by the non-profit organization Comicdom Press, theHellenic American Union and the French Institute Of Greece, will take place in Athens on April 15-17 2016.
The three-day comics festival will be hosted at the main building of the Hellenic American Union (22 Massalias str) and the French Institute of Greece building (31 Sina str).

Kosovo Police Raid NGOs Linked to Iran
Kosovo Police raided five NGOs on Wednesday on suspicions of money laundering and financing terrorism, as a part a strategy to crack down on radical islamic practices and supporters.
"The raids are tied to a case that is being investigated by the Special Prosecution, with the goal of preventing and fighting terrorism in the Republic of Kosovo," the prosecution said.

Hong Kong movie star Jackie Chan said Wednesday he felt "ashamed" of his son's detention on drug-related charges, adding he had "failed to educate" his child.
Jaycee Chan, who like his father is a singer and actor, was detained last week after police found more than 100 grams of cannabis at his home in Beijing, according to Chinese state-run media.
