Motor Show brings together 400 exhibitors from 26 countries
BELGRADE - The International Motor Show under the slogan "The place where men cry out of happiness" opened in Belgrade on Friday, bringing together over 400 exhibitors from 26 countries.
Serbia has great potential for developing the car industry even further, and this is the biggest and oldest event of its kind in the region, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said at the opening ceremony.
The world's biggest car manufacturers have come together for this year's show because they place trust in the reforms and economic changes carried out by the Serbian government, he underscored.
Sertic noted that last year the total revenues of companies operating in the car sector exceeded EUR 2 billion, with road vehicles accounting for 14 percent of Serbia's exports.
Along with the motor show, the 9th International Motorcycle Show titled "Motopassion" will take place at Belgrade Fair.
The gates open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Individual tickets are priced at RSD 300, group ones at RSD 200, the hourly parking charge stands at RSD 100.
The International Motor Show runs through March 29.
