Romanian director Comeaga's 'The Chosen One' to run in North Hollywood Cinefest

"The Chosen One," a film directed and produced by Cristian Comeaga has been included in the official selections of the North Hollywood Cinefest 2015 festival to be held at the Carl Laemmle Theater of Los Angeles, April 10-16.

The film will be projected on April 15. "The Chosen One," starring Bogdan Stanoevici, Laura Cosoi, Nicodim Ungureanu and Olimpia Melinte, will be premiered in Romania on April 24.

Romanian director, writer and producer Cristian Comeaga describe his film as a "testified history, a subjective speech." "Nothing of what happens in the film, no place thereof and no character tells anything about me, yet altogether tell my entire story. That is why this time I find it both easy and hared to plead," producers quote him as saying in a press release.

Produced by Domino Film and distributed by InterComFilm Distribution, "Cel ales" (The Chosen One) will be released late this April in 50 cinema halls nationwide. AGERPRES
