Serbian parliament speaker to visit Turkey on Monday

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic will be paying an official visit to Turkey on April 13-14, the parliament's press office has said in a statement.

Gojkovic will meet with Turkey's Parliament Speaker Jemil Cicek and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

Discussed during the visit will be ways of intensifying parliamentary cooperation and development of overall relations, with Gojkovic and Cicek to also sign a protocol on cooperation between the two parliaments.

The Serbian parliamentary delegation will include Zoran Babic, chairman of the Serbia-Turkey parliamentary friendship group.
