Children's Tour to feature at 12th Museum Night
BELGRADE - The 12th Museum Night, to be held in Belgrade on May 16, will include the first-ever Children's Tour of venues presenting new and exclusive content to the youngest museum lovers and their parents.
The central point on the kids' tour map is Cvijeta Zuzoric Art Pavilion at the Belgrade fortress, which will turn into the Children's Pavilion for the night.
In improvised art studios inside the pavilion and at Kalemegdan Park, the children will take part in various workshops, take a journey through the world of Lego toys, learn to create sand pictures, and make masks.
The visitors will also have an opportunity to attend a real-life Mad Tea Party from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland", which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
Belgrade Zoo will join the event by organizing workshops for children under 12, to teach them more about animals.
The workshops held by the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will introduce the children to musicians and the instruments they play.
The Museum of Science and Technology will welcome the youngest visitors in the Children's Museum and the Science Center.
