Kragujevac signs cooperation agreement with company from UAE
BELGRADE - Officials of the City of Kragujevac and the company Barakat Palace Group from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a cooperation agreement Monday under which the company is to mediate in bringing investors to that Serbian city.
The agreement was signed by Kragujevac Mayor Radomir Nikolic and President of Barakat Palace Group Talal Ahmed Ali.
Nikolic said that he expected the arrival of a large number of investors in five or six months from now and that the city's obligations arising from the agreement included logistical support, help in setting up companies arriving in Kragujevac and support in their obtaining permits.
Stressing that today's agreement was the first of a series of such agreements to be signed with investors from the UAE, Nikolic said that Kragujevac would sign similar agreements with investors from China, Russia and India.
Barakat Palace Group wants to bring the best investors to Kragujevac and to see that that their needs met, Ahmed Ali said.
Its strategic position makes Kragujevac a perfect destination for investors from around the world, said Ahmet Ali.
